About our services:

When it comes to sanitation and special services for film production and still photo shoots on the East End of Long Island, Emil Norsic & Son is the location manager's logical choice.

Why Norsic? It's simple, really. We have the personnel, the equipment and the experience to handle just about every sanitation requirement a production has on location. And because we understand the tight schedules and high costs of each shooting day, we tailor our service to fit the needs of the of the production.

In addition, because we are the only "full service" sanitation company in Suffolk County, offering a full range of luxury and standard comfort stations, all types of rubbish removal, 1 to 40 cubic yard dumpsters and emergency cesspool pumping and repairs, you only have to deal with one company to secure all the sanitation services you'll need.

Emil Norsic & Son is fully licensed and insured to operate in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Dedicated Production Liaison and Cell Phone:

Good communications between a location unit and its local service contractors can often spell the difference between a smooth operation and a production that's plagued by time consuming problems. At Norsic we assign each production a specific Customer Service Rep and a dedicated cell phone so that the location manager has access to his or her Norsic representative whenever needed. No voice mail, no phone tag, no sweat! And, if you request it, our rep will monitor the phone after normal office hours, although a nominal, hourly, standby fee may be charged.

One call to one person and your mission is accomplished. It's just one less thing to worry about.

The Hamptonian boasts the latest innovations in the portable sanitation industry including no-touch flush and sink controls, gold-tone fixtures , climate control and a high quality sound system, all making for truly first class accommodations.	The Royale is one of our most elegant portable toilets and features amenities you'd find only in indoor accommodations. Available in two sizes, the Royale offers your guests the ultimate in comfort.	The Regent is a mid-sized unit that's unsurpassed in luxury by units of any size. This model delivers the kind of service normally found in the larger units. We consider it our premier unit in it's size class.



The Oasis: At just 18 feet, this unit pack lots of niceties into a small, economical package. Suitable for situations calling for better accommodations at moderate cost.	The Viceroy: Combining luxury, economy and efficiency in a mid-sized unit makes this 18 footer one of our most versatile.	The Envoy: Another mid-sized unit that offers the kind of amenities normally found only in larger, more expensive accommodations.



The Gemini is the answer for smaller gatherings where the only utmost in comfort and luxury would be appropriate. It is our newest model and extremely popular.

Standard Field Sanitation Facilities:

Despite some claims to the contrary, the truth is that most standard portable toilet units are of about the same quality. Each manufacturer has one or two basic "shells" and adds optional features and amenities to create their different models.

The essential difference is in the service. A dirty toilet is a dirty toilet is a dirty toilet...even if the seat is hand carved from a solid block of rare cocoloba wood. At Norsic, we have a fleet of specialized toilet service trucks and a well trained team of closely supervised service personnel who thoroughly clean, disinfect and restock each unit on schedule. And because we're located close to the geographical center of the Hamptons, our arrival at the job site is not affected by heavy traffic on the two main arteries that feed into the area.

On time, professional servicing is of the utmost importance when shooting at a location where the only available facilities may be portable units. Cast and crew morale can be adversely affected by shoddy or nonexistent service. And, of course, health issues are also a factor. That's why Norsic works closely with the location manager to create a service schedule that won't interfere with set activities while ensuring that the facilities are always properly cleaned.

Norsic does offer a number of options from which to choose. Running water, flush toilets, urinals, hand washing sinks and interior lighting are some of the amenities that are available. We also offer extra-wide units equipped with ramps to accommodate wheel chairs.

Arrangements for pumping out production RV's and trailers can also be made through our office.

Dumpsters and Rubbish Collection:

Rubbish collection and dumpster rentals are also available through Norsic.

Your Norsic representative can assist you with the selection process so that you can determine the exact type and scope of service you actually require. Often, large "roll-off" dumpsters are ordered when smaller, "rear loader" units would suffice. Do you need regularly scheduled garbage pickups or would it be more advantageous to call on an "as needed" basis? Each production has its own, unique set of circumstances and an experienced Norsic rep can analyze your particular situation and suggest the appropriate level of service for you.

Special Services:

In addition to our regular services, Norsic has often been called on to provide special assistance to productions working on the East End. We have demolished unwanted structures, delivered equipment and supplies to difficult to access locations and handled many unusual tasks specific to individual productions.

Recently, a Special Events company was faced with the problem of transporting their heavy equipment to a spot on Flying Point Beach for a wedding. The distance from the paved road was approximately a quarter of a mile and rather than risk getting bogged down, Norsic was called in to deliver the equipment to the location. The job was accomplished using payloaders and 4x4's. Norsic expertise helped to avoid potential problems and the event went off on schedule.
